Kevin Sexton

Nashville

Kevin Neal Sexton, 54, of Nashville, died at 4:58 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Kevin was a longtime member of the Double Y Saddle Club and was an avid horse enthusiast. He also enjoyed camping and fishing. Kevin was a former member of the Columbus Abate. He was known as “everyone’s handyman.” It goes without saying that Kevin will be most disappointed that he won’t be around for the zombie apocalypse, as he was ready, “locked and loaded.”

A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. June 10, 2017, at the Double Y Saddle Club, 4761 Hendricks Ford Road, Edinburgh. Per Mr. Sexton’s wishes, cremation will take place.

Online condolences and special memories may be shared with the Sexton family at barkesweaverglick.com.

Mr. Sexton was born June 16, 1962, in Columbus, to the late Joseph and Almagene Brown Sexton.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Sexton and son, Travis (Tamara) McCreary, both of Nashville; four grandchildren; brother, Cory Sexton; sisters, Chandra L. Robertson and Tara (Brian) Schoettmer, all of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael J. Sexton and Jess D. Sexton.

Arrangements were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
