Old Union United Church of Christ — Pastor Kirby Rupp will deliver the message, “Keepers of the Aquarium,” at the 10 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 12703 N. County Road 50W, Edinburgh. Scripture will include Acts 1:6-14, 1 Peter 4:12-14 and 5:6-11, and John 17:1-11. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. and fellowship will be at 9:40 a.m.Wednesday Bible study meets at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

First Presbyterian — The sermon, “I Pray for Them,” will be given during the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 512 Seventh St. Special music by a saxophone quartet will be played during the service. Infant and toddler care is available from 9:15 to 11 a.m. The Men’s and Women’s Support groups meet at 7 a.m. Fridays and a second Men’s Support Group meets at 6:15 a.m. every Monday.

People in need of a meal are invited to Hot Meals offered at 5 p.m. Friday through the glass doors on Franklin Street.

East Columbus United Methodist — Fellowship begins at 9 a.m. Sunday in the church foyer, 2439 Indiana Ave. The blended service begins at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Aigner delivering the message. Children will receive a special message before being dismissed to go to children’s church. A staffed nursery/toddler room is available during the service. Sunday school will begin at 10:40 a.m. for all ages and Bible interests. The Sunday evening service will not be held.

Church Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Youth Center. Tuesday Bible study will meet at 1 p.m. and the Wednesday Bible study is at 7 p.m., both in the Youth Center.

Westside Community — Associate Pastor Robert Vester will lead the 10 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 124 Tipton Lakes Blvd. Pastor Vester will continue a sermon series, “Family Matters,” with his message, “Family Dynamics.” The children’s program meets during the service.

Westside will have Vacation Bible School June 24 to 25. The theme will be how Jesus used water in his ministry through the program, “The Wacky World of Water .. .Dive into God’s Word.”

Flintwood Wesleyan — Sunday service times: Amplify at 9 a.m. and The Well at 11 a.m., both in the main sanctuary of the church, 5300 E. 25th St. Sunday school classes begin at 10 a.m. in their regular rooms. Pastor Wes Jones will continue his five-part series, “From Decision to Disciple.” The Prayer Team will meet at 8 a.m. The evening service begins at 6 p.m.

Prayer Team will meet at 6:15 p.m. in the Prayer Room. Adult Bible study begins at 7 p.m. in the main sanctuary.

Vacation Bible School is from 9:30 a.m. to noon June 26 to 29. This year’s theme, “Camp Out! Getting S’more of Jesus!,” includes stories, games and crafts. Age group: Preschool to Grade 6.

First Baptist — The Rev. Dan Cash will deliver the Sunday message, “Prayer Priorities,” with Scripture from John 17:1-11 at the 9:30 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive. Music worship will be led by the Chancel Choir. Childcare is available for infants. Older children will remain in the service. Following fellowship, classes for all ages will begin at 10:45 a.m. Children’s classes will take a close look at “Many Parts, One Body” with Scripture from 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

First United Methodist — The Rev. Howard Boles will deliver the message, “Where We See God,” at the 9 a.m. traditional and 11 a.m. contemporary services Sunday at the church, 618 Eighth St. Scripture will be Acts 1:6-14.

Petersville United Methodist — The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry will deliver the message, “Witnesses,” at the 9 a.m. service Sunday at the church, 2781 N. County Road 500E. Liturgist Teresa Covert will share Scripture from John 17:1-11 and Acts 1:6-14. Covert also will give the children’s sermon. The Adult Choir will present a message in song, led by Kathy Bush. Military veterans will be honored during the service. A time of fellowship will follow. The Prayer Life class, led by the Rev. Scherer-Berry, will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is for all ages.

Weekly groups meet as follows: Baker’s Dozen at 6:30 p.m. at the Nolting home; Sit and Stitch at 6:30 p.m., also at the Nolting home; choir practice at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday; the Walkers at 9 a.m. Monday and Wednesday at FairOaks Mall, 2380 25th St.; and Prayer Group at 10 a.m. Thursday.

First United Methodist — Fridays at First: The Lasting Impressions present Cowboy Roundup Featuring Country Western and Gospel Music at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 618 Eighth St. The concert is free and open to the public.

Flintwood Wesleyan — The Senior Adult Ministries luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 8 in the Friendship Center.

Kid’s Bible Camp will be June 13 to 16. Spiritual Impact, the teen camp, will be from June 19 to 23. Both camps are at The Wesleyan Family Campground in Orleans, Indiana. Registration can be made by contacting Pastor Teri Jones through the church office.
