Susan Cordes of Carmel and Ryan Selby of Greenfield announce their engagement.
Ms. Cordes is the daughter of William and Adele Cordes. She is a 2003 graduate of Columbus East High School, a 2007 graduate of DePauw University and a 2010 graduate of Indiana University. She is a genetic counselor in maternal-fetal medicine at Community Hospital North and in the hereditary genomics division at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
Mr. Selby is the son of Charles and Christa Selby. He is a 2001 graduate of Washington Catholic High School and a 2006 graduate of Vincennes University. He is an U.S. Army veteran, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and 2008. He is a land surveyor with American Structurepoint Inc. in Indianapolis.
The wedding will be July 1 at the First Baptist Church in Columbus.
