Dorel Juvenile has announced it is moving production of 1 million child car seats from a Chinese competitor to its Columbus manufacturing facility, a move that will create 60 local jobs.
Dorel is a supplier to Wal-Mart, who is including the transition in its decade-long commitment to buy an additional $250 billion in products that support American jobs in the next 10 years.
Wal-Mart and Dorel will make a joint announcement about the production increase next Tuesday in Columbus.
