The Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health is sponsoring two free information sessions on obesity and bariatric surgery.

Dr. David J. Lee, bariatric medical director at Southern Indiana Surgery, and Samantha Grider, nurse practitioner, will cover the causes of obesity, trends, quality-of-life issues, as well as explore misconceptions about bariatric surgery, insurance coverage and surgery options.

Both sessions will be conduct at 5:30 p.m. June 13 and 27 at Southern Indiana Surgery, 2325 18th St., Suite 220, Columbus.
