James Walter Stegner, 62, of Commiskey, died at 2 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Stegner is survived by his daughters, Sara (John) Beal and Shauna (Brad) Summers of North Vernon; sister, Jeanette Anderson of Springville; and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life and Sharing for Mr. Stegner will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the home of Kevin and Susan Beal, 3225 N. County Road 100E, North Vernon, Indiana 47265. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorials in honor of Mr. Stegner may be sent through the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services to Coffee Creek Conservation Club or Schneck Medical Center Foundation.
