LOWELL, Mass. — A woman has been struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in Lowell.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office says the woman was hit Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities have not released her name, pending notification of her family. The driver of the tractor-trailer remained at the scene. No charges have been field.

The district attorney’s office and Lowell police continue to investigate.
