LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Authorities in Little Rock say one man was killed after a car drove off an interstate overpass and landed in Fourche Creek.

Police say the crash killed 37-year-old Marcus Blue of Little Rock. It shut down a portion of Springer Boulevard for a few hours Wednesday night as officers responded to the wreck.

Police say witnesses told officers that the vehicle went airborne over the Interstate 440 guard rail and crashed into the creek. Police found the vehicle submerged in the creek, and a spokesman says Blue was pronounced dead at the scene.
