Howard “Cactus” Tevis, 77, of Columbus, died at 7:32 a.m. May 30, 2017, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Calling will be from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lambert Cemetery with military honors presented by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
Survivors include his companion, Wanda Fisher of Columbus; a daughter, Rebecca Joyce Clay of Richmond, Kentucky; a brother, David Tevis of San Diego, California; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
