Letter: If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all

From: Bobby Woodall

Columbus

I have recently encountered some difficulties, and a few people make fun or offer snide remarks about my disabilities (being handicapped). They should walk a mile in my shoes, especially if they want to stand up and accuse me.

My disability is an acquired condition, but their lack of understanding is evidently inherited. Those who would make fun of my disability would be better off following the age-old advice that it’s better to say nothing if you can’t say something nice about a person.
