ST. PAUL, Minn. — Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert for a 13-month-old girl and her 25-year-old mother.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says Kasina Smith, and her mother, Erica Liasha Crumb, were taken around 12:45 p.m. Friday while leaving a doctor’s office in the Minneapolis suburb of Coon Rapids. The BCA says they were taken by the child’s father, who has a restraining order against him.

The BCA later canceled the alert, saying the child and her mother had been located and were safe.
