MINNEAPOLIS — Vikings safety Harrison Smith says his left ankle has healed and is no longer an issue four months after his surgery.
The Pioneer Press reports (http://bit.ly/2qSFuCR ) Smith said this week the issue had “built up over the years” but added that it was nothing big.
A high ankle sprain forced Smith to miss two games in December but he played the final two games of the season. Smith also played in the Jan. 29 Pro Bowl.
