EUGENE, Ore. — Two more men have pleaded guilty to charges connected to the stabbing death of a homeless man at a Eugene park.

The Register-Guard reports (http://bit.ly/2qLyWqm) that 46-year-old John Marque Javelet pleaded guilty Friday to murder as well as dealing methamphetamine and having sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Also on Friday, 48-year-old Michael Matthew Ferlaak pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit first-degree assault.

The third person charged in the attack, 42-year-old Joshua Sherman, on Wednesday pleaded guilty to manslaughter as part of a deal in which he would testify against his co-defendants.

The victim, 25-year-old Alexander Davenport, was found suffering from stab wounds near the entrance to Alton Baker Park in May 2016. He died of his injuries at a hospital.
