Charles Allen Denton Sr., 52, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away June 1, 2017, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation in Columbus, Indiana. He was born on Oct. 5, 1964, in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Charles Robert and Mary Katherine (Collier) Denton.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher (Dawn) Denton of Edinburgh, Indiana and Charles (Kari) Denton of Taylorsville, Indiana; daughter, Amanda (Brian) Denton of Edinburgh, Indiana; sisters, Vicky L. Robinson of Edinburgh, Indiana and Roxanna K. (Rick) Beard-Browning of Edinburgh, Indiana; grandchildren, Coltyn, Harper, Cayden, Gracie and Zyrus; nieces, Kaylee Robinson and Shayla Beard; and nephew, David (Jennie) Brockman Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, flea markets and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and the family dog, Bentley.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Reverend Randy Denton at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
