Jacqueline Ann Dixon (Brown), 52, of Columbus, died at 9:18 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her residence.

She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed collecting angels and ceramic baskets and playing bingo.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Darren Burton officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and also from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association for further research for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Mrs. Dixon was born Oct. 10, 1964, in Columbus, to Carl Eugene and Juanitta Jeraldene Smith Brown.

She married Randy E. Dixon on Aug. 14, 1993.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years; children, Randall S. Brown and Sonja Ann Dixon-Dougherty, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Liberty Ann Joyce Dougherty, Summer Nicole Dawn Brown, Alexandria Paige Brown and Destani Freeman; sisters, Carlena S. Stigdon and Connie Huckaby; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David C. Brown.
