Robert M. Booth, 21, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Robert was born Dec. 15, 1995, in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of Ted Booth and Rebecca S. Hahn Booth.
Robert was a 2014 graduate of Columbus North High School. He had been a mechanic at Cars & Parts Inc and had just recently started working at Cummins Inc.
Robert attended the Athens Church in Columbus and was a member of the Team Hansbro flag football team. A sports enthusiast, Robert enjoyed working out and playing football and was an avid fan of the Miami Heat, New York Yankees and the Denver Broncos.
Robert was a marvelous young man and had a smile that could light up the world.
Robert is survived by his fiancée, Nicole Fish of Columbus; daughters, Kinsley and Avery Booth; his mother, Rebecca Booth of Columbus; his father, Ted Booth of Columbus; brothers, Nicklas and Zachary Booth of Columbus; sisters, Abigail Emery of Columbus and Tonya Emery and Allison Holwager of North Vernon; grandmothers, Patricia Hahn of Columbus, Jeannie Booth of Kentucky and Mary Lusby of Aurora; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Robert was preceded in death by grandparents, Mark L. Hahn and Buddy and Gerda Booth; and an aunt, Emma Knobloch.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Tyler Tolbert officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
