GREENVILLE, S.C. — Officials have identified a second person killed in a crash on a South Carolina interstate highway.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office on Sunday said the second victim in the wreck was 40-year-old Dorothy Michelle Carroll of Greenville.

She and 50-year-old Jesse Carroll died when their car was crushed between two tractor trailer rigs on Interstate 385 on Friday morning.

Investigators say Dorothy Carroll was driving the car when it was hit by a rig from behind.

A third person in Carroll’s car was hurt and has been released from a hospital.

The drivers of the two rigs suffered minor injuries. The driver of a pickup truck that was also hit was hospitalized in stable condition.
