Hazel Lee, 87, of Columbus, died at 10:59 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Mrs. Lee retired from Hill’s Department Store as Head Receiving Clerk after 20 years of service.

She was a member of Sixth Street General Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Robert Baldwin officiating. Family and friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to time of service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Hazel was born April 20, 1930, in Egypt, Kentucky, to Allen and Edna Bowles Coffey.

She married Roger F. Lee on Oct. 29, 2006.

Survivors include her children, Conley Ray of Tyner, Kentucky and Debbie (Joe) Lipka of Lexington, Kentucky; step-children, Wayne (Becky) Bunch of Columbus, Brenda Bunch of Columbus, Debbie (Steve) Jones of Glasgow, Kentucky, Roger “Butch” (Mary) Lee Jr. of Columbus, Jerry (Diana) Lee of Columbus, Kenneth (Judy) Lee of Columbus and Patricia (Gary) Fields of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Ellis Ray; second husband, Floyd Bunch; infant son, Darrell Ray; grandson, Conley Ray Jr.; brother, Hayden; and sisters, Ethyl, Lottie and Vicy.
