North grad helps Senior All-Stars to victory
Maliah Howard-Bass scored five points and grabbed six rebounds Tuesday night to help the Indiana (Senior) All-Stars to a 112-76 win against the Junior All-Stars at New Albany.
The Columbus North graduate went 2 for 7 from the field, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, in 16 minutes of action. She also had an assist.
On Friday, Howard-Bass scored eight points in the girls game to help Terhune to an 87-75 win against Hickory in the Hoosiers Reunion All-Star Classic at Knightstown’s Hoosier Gym. North’s Alex King notched 14 points in Terhune’s 152-130 loss to Hickory in the boys game.
Howard-Bass will play for the Indiana All-Stars against the Junior All-Stars again Thursday at Plainfield and against Kentucky Saturday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Sunday in Frankfort, Kentucky.
