The remaining pieces stolen from the Central Middle School demolition site, including decorative limestone rosettes and several bricks, were recovered after an anonymous tipster led police to the items, which were left near The Republic building on Second Street.

Bartholomew County Bartholomew Public Library Board voted 5-1 to open the library on Sunday afternoons, from September through mid-December and from January through April, on a one-year trial basis.
