Debra Kay (Walker) Stephenson, age 66, passed away Thursday morning, June 8, 2017, at her residence in Columbus. She was a former resident of Franklin.
Debra was born March 27, 1951, in Franklin, to the late Fred and Patricia (Critser) Walker. She was a 1969 graduate of Franklin High School. Debbie was a caregiver for the elderly for over 20 years, as well as a homemaker for her children.
She enjoyed spending time spoiling her Jack Russell Terrier, Scooter, flower gardening and collecting seashells on her anticipated summer vacations to Daytona and Myrtle Beach. Debra enjoyed painting and making crafts such as wood crafts, jewelry stands, magazine holders and Christmas decorations.
She will be dearly missed by her two children, Leanne (fiancé Chris Schaefer) Stephenson and Keith Stephenson Jr., both of Columbus.
Pastor Beabout will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. on Monday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., in Morgantown. Friends may call from 5:30 p.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
