Free milkweed seeds available for butterflys

A project dedicated to the study of monarch butterflies, called the Monarch Watch, says that planting mikweed is a way to help the declining monarch population rebound.

Milkweed is an important food source during the life cycle of the monarch butterfly, according to the project.

Locally, Columbus resident Nancy Pence Fritsch said she has milkweed seeds available for free to those who are interested in growing milkweed in their gardens to help the monarch butterflies.
