Sue J. King, 76, of Columbus, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
A licensed practical nurse, Sue retired in 2005 from Franklin United Methodist Community where she had worked for 25 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Dan Wallace officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. King was born July 2, 1940, in Columbus, to James and Lois Bush Roark.
She married Kenneth B. “Butch” King on March 20, 1960. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2000.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth E. (Crystal) King and Keith E. (Kelli) King, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Amelia King, Kenny Bob King, Ashley Dawn Gearhart and Elza Matthew King; a brother, James (Susan) Roark of Oregon; and her sister, Ann (Bob) Ruddick of Montana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
