NEW YORK — A 5-year-old and a man have been killed and three other people injured in a two-vehicle crash on the George Washington Bridge.

Authorities say an SUV crashed into the back of a box truck Wednesday night on the upper level of the bridge.

Officials have not released the names of the two people who died. They say the other three victims suffered minor injuries. All five were in the SUV.

The crash remains under investigation.
