Bus and Cheryl Flater of Franklin recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. A celebration was held June 10 in Franklin. The couple is planning a trip in the fall.
Mr. Flater and his wife, the former Cheryl Warder were married June 11, 1967 at St. George Lutheran Church in Shelby County.
She is retired from teaching high school math at Franklin Community High School.
He is also retired.
They have one son, Timothy Flater of Franklin; and two grandchildren.
