1) Once upon a time, I owned my very own pair of ice skates. At some point after those skates had left my possession, a fear grew inside of me: It was a fear of knocking all of my teeth out while ice skating. Don’t let your kids grow up to be like me. Sign them up for Columbus Hockey Camp, 1 to 5 p.m. July 10 to 14, at the Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Drive, Columbus. The camp lessons will emphasize skills of skating, puck control, passing and receiving with team concepts. For ages 6 to 12.
