Helen L. Hendrickson, 79, of Hope, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hope. Helen loved to embroider and be outdoors, and was a true Elvis fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Born on Oct. 29, 1937, in Columbus, Helen was the daughter of Ebert and Hazel Campbell Hendrickson.

Survivors include aunts, Mary Scheidt and Sally Campbell, both of Columbus; niece, Julie (Brad Fouch) Zollman of Columbus; nephews, Ronald Zollman of Hope and Kyle (Lisa) Zollman of Columbus; great-nieces, Jessica (Josh) Bean of Clifford and Tiffany (Josh) McKnight of Plainfield; great-nephew, Justin (Jodi) Zollman of Hope; two great-great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and companion, Glen Olmstead of Hope.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Alice Zollman; and her great-nephew, Matthew Zollman.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Mark Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association.
