Mildred Helen Vieweg, 94, of Columbus, died at 12:54 a.m. June 22, 2017, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehab.
Mildred was born March 3, 1923, in Ohio, the daughter of William and Dorothy James Vieweg.
She retired as an administrative assistant and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mildred was an accomplished musician with a powerful singing voice and was previously a choir director.
Mildred had an interest in trying various activities and enjoyed doing ceramics and traveling with relatives and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her nieces and cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Garland Brook Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Bowles officiating. The Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her nieces; cousins; and great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Ernest Vieweg Jr.
