Steve and Julie Anthers of Elizabethtown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with an open house hosted by their daughters at Sandy Hook United Methodist Church.
Mr. Anthers and the former Julie Carter were married June 24, 1967, at First Christian Church in North Vernon.
Mr. Anthers is retired from Arvin Industries.
Mrs. Anthers is a retired Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. teacher.
The couple have two daughters, Laura Chasse and Jen Wagner, both of Columbus. They also have three grandchildren.
