HOUSTON — A Houston judge has ordered the second of three men held for killing a 10-month-old child who was in his father’s arms to be jailed in isolation without bond.

The Houston Chronicle reports state District Judge Jan Krocker didn’t explain why 20-year-old Kravon Human is being kept separate from other inmates, although it’s not uncommon for authorities to isolate multiple defendants so they’re unable to communicate with each other.

Prosecutors outlining the case Thursday said they had a witness who saw Human, carrying a gun, running from the scene June 14 where Messiah Marshall was killed.

Another man, Jared Balogun, arrested last week, also was in court Thursday for appointment of a lawyer. Police said Wednesday they arrested a third man in the case. His name hasn’t yet been released.
