Forman welcomes new advisor
Zach Greiner, Columbus, has joined Forman Investment Services as a financial adviser.
He earned his bachelor of science degree in finance from Indiana University in 2008 and, most recently, has served as a credit underwriter and commercial lender at MainSource Bank.
Greiner is the president of the board of directors for San Souci and previously served as finance mentor for the Turning Point Dance Marathon. He is also a member of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce.
Columbus Regional Health earns quality care award
Columbus Regional Health has received an award from the American College of Cardiology for quality care.
The Platinum Performance Achievement Award recognizes a hospital’s commitment to and success in implementing the highest care standards and guidelines for heart patients. These standards are outlined by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
To receive the designation, a health system must follow the guidelines for a minimum of eight consecutive quarters and meet performance standards of the top 10 percent or higher for specific outcome measures.
Services at the Heart and Vascular Center include interventional cardiology procedures such as angioplasty and stenting, implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, electrophysiology studies and ablation.
North grad to teach doctoral students
A 2009 Columbus North graduate will be teaching doctoral level students.
Rachel Handt recently earned a residency to specialize in neurological physical therapy from the University of Southern California and Rancho Los Amigos for the 2017-18 school year.
She will teach doctoral level students at the university, conducting research and seeing patients at Rancho Los Amigos.
After graduating from Columbus North High School, Handt went on to graduate from Ball State University in 2013 and Indiana University School of Physical Therapy in 2016. She is employed by Community Health Network.
Hampton Inn earns service award
Hampton Inn by Hilton Columbus/Taylorsville/Edinburgh received a 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award.
The award celebrates hospitality businesses which earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on the site for at least one year.
The facility is located at 12161 N. US 31 in Edinburgh.
