Five area students earned a spot on the spring semester dean’s list at the University of Kentucky. They are:
- Rachel Hart, senior, Columbus, Bachelor of Science in education degree with major in kinesiology
- Maelyn Rae Kiser, junior, Columbus, seeking Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering degree with a major in pre-chemical engineering
- Jarren Tay, sophomore, Columbus, seeking Bachelor of Science in computer science degree with a major in pre-computer science
- Andrew Jordan Walker, senior, Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering degree with a major in mechanical engineering
- Morgan R. Reece, senior, North Vernon, Bachelor of Science in equine science and management, with a major in equine science and management
Students must have at least a 3.6 grade-point average and take 12 credit hours to be on the dean’s list, although some colleges within the school require a 3.5 GPA.
