The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close a portion of State Road 250 on Monday, and for up to 45 days, to replace the culvert carrying Crooked Creek at its location west of Uniontown in Jennings County.
A new 24-foot, three-sided concrete box culvert with wingwalls will be installed.
Motorists will detour around the Marion Township site via State Road 3, State Road 256 and Interstate 65.
State Road 250 will be closed between State Road 3 and Interstate 65’s northbound off ramp. Access will be maintained to residents’ homes.
