Concert to benefit Just Friends Adult Day Services

Columbus North senior Cassie Sprague is organizing a benefit concert as a senior project to help Just Friends Adult Day Services.

The concert is at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at Columbus East High School auditorium, 230 S. Marr Road, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $10 and will be available the night of the show.

Performers include Life of Carter, Sierra White of Canada and Melissa Maynard of Michigan. Spencer Kane, the newest member of Anthem Lights and a former Indiana resident, will headline.

Proceeds will go to Just Friends, which provides community-based services to promote equality, dignity and independence for aging adults and adults with disabilities.
