Three people injured in Indianapolis Road accident

Three people were injured in a head-on collision on Indianapolis Road.

Columbus police were sent to the 2500 block of North Indianapolis Road about the two-vehicle accident at 3:44 p.m. Monday, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

A 2005 Honda CRV driven by Hue Vo, 46, of Columbus, collided with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Alex C. Curry, 19, of Columbus, Harris said.

Vo and an unidentified passenger in Curry’s vehicle were taken to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment, Harris said. Vo was treated and released from the hospital and there was no information on the passenger’s condition.

Curry was transported by helicopter to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital for surgery due to a head injury, police said. Curry was listed in critical condition at Methodist, officials there said.
