David L. Trosky, 85, of Linton, Indiana, passed away at 6:02 a.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at Autumn Trace in Linton. He was born on May 21, 1932, in Indianapolis, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Rosemeyer) Trosky.

David had graduated high school in Danville, Illinois in 1950, and was a former resident of Jennings County. He had retired from Rex Business Machines after 25 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and playing chess. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served two years during the Korean War. He married Marilyn J. Houze at the Sardinia Baptist Church on Sept. 5, 1954, and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2017.

Survivors include his son, Eric (Natalie) Trosky of Linton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017, at the Westport Cemetery with Pastor Danny Houze officiating. At his request, if you are attending the graveside service come in casual clothes, no suit and ties.
