WATERLOO, Iowa — Authorities have released the names of two men who were shot — one fatally — in Waterloo.

Police say the men were shot in a sport utility vehicle around 3:55 p.m. Friday. Officers found the SUV about seven blocks from where people in another vehicle began shooting at it.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports (http://bit.ly/2u1T36p ) that the 33-year-old passenger, Fredrick Webber, was taken to an Iowa City hospital and pronounced dead there. An autopsy has been ordered.

The wounded driver’s been identified as 20-year-old Robert Coffer. He’s being treated at the same Iowa City hospital and is expected to survive.

No arrests have been reported.
