SIGNAL HILL, Calif. — Authorities are searching for suspects in a shooting that killed a man and wounded two women outside a Los Angeles-area strip club.

The gunfire was reported early Tuesday in the parking lot at the Fantasy Castle in Signal Hill.

KABC-TV reports a man in his late 20s died at the scene. One of the wounded women was shot in the hip or leg.

Kim Chavez, a dancer at the club, tells the news station that people ran and dove to the floor when the gunshots rang out.

Police have not released a suspect description. They’re interviewing witnesses and looking for possible surveillance video.

It’s the second recent shooting outside the club south of downtown Los Angeles. Last October two people were wounded when someone opened fire, and a third person was struck by a fleeing car.
