Robert W. “Doc” Garmon, 73, of Edinburgh, died July 15, 2017, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; son, Robert W. Garmon Jr. of Indianapolis; daughters, Tami (Joe) Scanland and Beth (Mike) Bohall, both of Martinsville, Sharon Crouch of Edinburgh, Debbie Ballinger of Indianapolis and Susan LaRoux of Edinburgh; brothers, Elvis Garmon of Miland, Paul Garmon of Melburn, Florida, and Gerald Garmon of Indianapolis; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Douglas Smith at the Edinburgh Full Gospel Church. Calling will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church and noon until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
