Linda Lou Uphaus

COLUMBUS

Linda Lou Uphaus, 73, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at 3:05 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Linda was a loving wife of 53 years and a nurturing mother of three children. She truly lived for her family.

In addition to caring for her family, she also enjoyed collecting elephant figurines, however, “the trunk always had to be up” for good luck.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Following Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Online condolences and special memories may be shared with the Uphaus family and a video tribute may be viewed at barkesweaverglick.com.
