SARASOTA, Fla. — A 26-year-old man is accused of pointing a revolver at another driver during a road rage incident on Interstate 75 in Florida.

The Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release that Christopher Allen Banach was arrested Wednesday afternoon near Sarasota.

According to troopers, Banach displayed a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver to another driver. Troopers eventually stopped the car and arrested Banach.

In addition to an aggravated assault charge, Banach faces multiple drug violations.

Troopers didn’t say what sparked the road rage incident.

Jail records don’t list a lawyer for Banach.
