PARIS, Ky. — A man and a horse have been killed in a crash in Kentucky.

WKYT-TV reports the crash happened just before 3 a.m. Friday in Bourbon County, near the Fayette County line. The Bourbon County Coroner said the 80-year-old driver of the car that struck the horse died at the scene. He was the only occupant of the vehicle. He has not been identified.

Investigators have not said where the horse came from.
