NEW YORK — Police in New York City are searching for a man they say sexually assaulted two people at knife-point in a park.

The Daily News reports ( ) the first attack in Kissena Park in Queens occurred around 11 p.m. Thursday when the man assaulted a 32-year-old woman who was walking. Police say the man threatened the woman with a knife, demanded money and then assaulted her.

Authorities say the suspect attacked a 17-year-old girl jogging in a different section of the park about a half hour later. Police say the suspect pulled the teen into a wooded area where he assaulted her.

Both victims were treated at hospitals and released.

Police believe attacks were committed by the same suspect.
