Governor appoints 2 local residents to state panels

Two Columbus residents recently were announced as commission and task force appointees by Governor Eric  Holcomb.

Richard Caldwell, representing American Veterans (AMVETS), will continue to serve on the Veterans’ Affairs Commission.

Justin Schneider, director of state government relations at Indiana Farm Bureau, will join the Bicycle Trails Task Force. This force was created this year by the General Assembly to propose steps to connect bicycle trails throughout Indiana and increase bicycle safety.
