MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — A man wanted in connection with the killing of a southwestern Idaho woman has been found dead.

Officials say the body of 30-year-old Anthony Alan Johnson was found Friday in a heavily wooded area near a mobile home park in Mountain Home.

Elmore County Sheriff Mike Hollinshead tells the Idaho Statesman (http://bit.ly/2ulUlJt) that it appears Johnson killed himself.

Police had been looking for Johnson after finding 25-year-old Justice Marie Gump dead at the wheel of her SUV that had hit a telephone pole on Wednesday morning near the mobile home park. Police said she died of a gunshot wound.

Hollinshead declined to disclose how or if Johnson and Gump knew each other.
