Greg and Marilyn Harter of Columbus celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 8 with their family at the Upland Brewery in Columbus.
Mr. Harter and the former Marilyn Maxey were married by the Rev. Hirsch on July 8, 1967, at St. Mary’s Church in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Mr. Harter worked at Cummins and for an investment banker in California and retired in 2014.
Marilyn is retired from teaching at Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation, Ivy Tech and IUPUI.

The couple have three children, Wendy (Chris) Harlow, Gregory II (Michelle) and K. Nicole (Carlton) Bale. They also have six grandchildren.
