ELKINS PARK, Pa. — Authorities have identified the elderly couple killed in an early morning fire near Philadelphia.

Roy and Helen Finestone, both 98, were found dead after a fire broke out at their Elkins Park home Sunday.

Officials in Montgomery County say the blaze was first reported around 4:30 a.m. after a neighbor woke up smelling smoke.

Heavy flames were shooting out of the home when fire crews arrived. Officials say the fire was placed under control around 7 a.m.

Investigators have determined the fire as accidental due to an electrical source.

The fire is still under investigation.
