Remote Control Fliers holding charity air show

The Bartholomew County Remote Control Fliers will have a 10th annual Cheer Fund Charity Air Show on Aug. 13.

The event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is at the fliers’ field at the reclaimed landfill east of Petersville on 25th Street. The air show is free, and Cheer Fund donations are being accepted.

Visitors will see flying demonstrations from all kinds of remote-control aircraft, including planes, helicopters and quadcopters. Food will be available for purchase, and there will be a raffle for prizes, with proceeds benefiting the Cheer Fund.
