LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Police say a 30-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy were killed in apparently unrelated shootings that occurred minutes apart in Little Rock.

Police were first called about 9:45 p.m. Monday to southwest Little Rock where officers found 30-year-old Loren Robinson shot to death outside a home.

About 20 minutes later, officers were called to an apartment in west Little Rock where the 14-year-old boy was found shot to death inside the apartment. The boy’s name was not released.

Police questioned one man following the shooting of Robinson and arrested him on unrelated charges. Police say the man is not a suspect in the fatal shooting.

No arrests have been announced in connection with the teenager’s death.

Officer Steve Moore says investigators do not believe the shootings are related.
