PHOENIX — The Phoenix Fire Department says one person is dead following an early morning house fire and that two other adults have been taken to the hospital.

Fire Capt. Reda Bigler says the dead man’s body was found when firefighters conducted another search of the home after family members arrived at the scene following the fire early Tuesday morning and said three adults lived in the home. By then the other two adults had already been taken to the hospital.

Bigler also says three boys ages 6 to 12 were in the home and evaluated after the fire but did not require transport to the hospital.
